StillSecure, After all these years, podcast #42 - NAP, NAC, TCG - Whats the difference?
Clean
July 17, 2007 05:04 PM PDT

Episode 42 is a NACfest! Our special guests are Steve Hanna, co-chair of the TNC/TCG and Amith Krishnan, senior product manager of Microsoft's security technologies including NAP. Steve, Amith, Mitchell and I discuss the finer points of the recent demonstration of the interoperability between NAP and the TCG standards and what this means for you. We dive pretty deep in just how this interoperability works and what Windows Server 2008 will mean to those interested in NAC. We also talk a bit about what this means for Cisco and other NAC vendors. Does this represent the future of NAC? What other functionality is envisioned? Will it cover non-Windows operating systems? These and other questions are all answered in the show. Enjoy! Our friends from South Africa, Sensepost have a special offer for those who would like to attend their hacking classes at Black Hat this year. Anyone who signs up for this offer can also pick up a StillSecure T-shirt by coming by our booth at Black Hat with proof of signing up for the course.
